A paradigm for consciousness - Talk by Colin Darcey
This is the final talk in a series about consciousness, it brings together the content of the previous ones, to develop a paradigm in which to understand consciousness. In the West we have a tendency to categorise and label in an attempt to explain phenomenon. The limits of this approach are seen in the area of quantum physics, where the apparent paradox of non-locality confronts the notion of measurement. The paradigm is presented in this vein, as a lens through which to view, as a means of gaining an understanding, rather than a reductionist description.
