A psychological overview of the Japanese therapies Morita and Naikan and their application to the West via the Purposeful Action Cycle. Norita Therapy and Naikan Therapy are well-established Japanese approaches offering valuable adjuncts to Western approaches to mental health.
The Purposeful Action Cycle is a model that integrates Morita and Naikan therapies with established western ways of dealing with the problem of living. The presentation will explore the background to these approaches.
