the harappan civilisation and lemurian legend

Situated in western India and eastern Pakistan, the Indus valley civilisation became large and sophisticated during the Bronze Age (2500 to 1900 BCE). Legends of a pre-Atlantean humanity popular in the late 1800s (incl. HPB) and assigned to a drowned continent of Lemuria in the Indian Ocean. However the scientific paradigm shift in the 1960s refuted this, moving the early human history eastwards to the drowned Indonesian islands.
