the indus valley harappan civilisation: Human ANCestors & lemuria
Situated in western India and eastern Pakistan, the Indus valley civilisation became large and sophisticated during the Bronze Age (2500 to 1900 BCE). Legends of a pre-Atlantean humanity popular in the late 1800s (incl. HPB) and assigned to a drowned continent of Lemuria in the Indian Ocean. However the scientific paradigm shift in the 1960s refuted this, moving the early human history eastwards to the drowned Indonesian islands (Sundaland).
