forget what you've heard about evolution & open your mind

About the Presentation

Forget everything you’ve heard about evolution and open your mind to an alternative theory that has been concurrent but hidden. Author, journalist and seeker of wisdom Jonathan Black, takes us through a different story of how we came to be, a story that has been suppressed since the advent of science but has persisted through time.

From the Egyptians through to the mystery schools of the ancient Greeks to the flowering of the renaissance and the beginnings of scientific thought, we can trace the persistence of another narrative that has been suppressed by the church but celebrated through secret societies like the Knights Templar, the Freemasons, the Rosicrucians, the Golden Dawn of the nineteenth century through to the Theosophical movement we have today.

This talk will follow the thread of ancient, esoteric, and sacred knowledge through time, exploring the wisdom once only known to the initiates of secret societies — and how such knowledge has survived through the hearts and minds of those who seek a higher understanding of life.
