TS Bookshop Spring Gathering
At 10am we begin with a gentle calming meditation followed by the playing of Tibetan Singing Bowls. At 11am we will have conversations around selected books that people have loved and found relevant and helpful to their lives in 2024. An opportunity to connect over good books. After lunch at 1pm Michele Langman (library volunteer) will talk about the Temples of Asklepios and the healing power of dreams. When visiting the temples in Epidaurus and being intrigued by the layout of the temple precinct, she asked "what did the Greeks do that so effectively invoked healing?" At 2pm there will be a guided visualisation with music. Many of us are finding ourselves in an anxious, fast paced and disconnected world. We hope to bring safety, connection, conversation, and introduce you to books, meditations and ideas that may support you in these times.
