Featured Speaker:Colin Darcey
Venue:Adelaide Lodge

blake on theosophy

William Blake considered a nuisance, non-conformist and generally ridiculed during his life. Today considered a genius, Master and visionary. He is said to have experienced visions, possibly the source of some of his great work, as an artist, poet and sometime philosopher. He continues to be enigmatic, or least his creations do, as one can only guess at an interpretation in many instances of his work.

The talk focuses on what could be considered, inspired by Theosophical themes. Primarily his poetry, but also looking at some of his paintings. The audience will be encouraged to consider their verdict during the proceedings, as we navigate the enigma.

About the Speaker:

Colin has been practicing as a psychotherapist for the past 15 years. Prior to this he has worked in a number of roles within IT, beginning wth 10 years for IBM. His main interest as a psychotherapist has been in the Transpersonal domain, working with clients as body/mind/soul.
